Everyone knows that construction sites can be of particular danger to the untrained eye. It is for this reason that the construction industry has designated May as the National safety Month for construction. It is during this time that you can witness the construction industry taking a stand for safety. Below are just a few of the safety stand-downs that are scheduled for 2017.
- Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI)—ESFI provides a series of electrical safety resources for those interested in celebrating electrical safety month. Resources include Home Safety, Workplace Safety, Seasonal Safety, Kids Safety and Program Initiatives. http://www.esfi.org/program/national-electrical-safety-month-314
- Safety Week 2017—Safety Week 2017 is a partnership between construction employers that commit to taking a stand for safety. During Safety Week 2017 participating employers in construction plan on covering a series of construction related safety topics to create awareness on workplace safety. http://www.constructionsafetyweek.com/
