The Electrical Alliance, in conjunction with the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 26, will participate in Big Build 2018 on Saturday, October 13 at The National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. from 10 am to 4 pm.
Children of all ages are welcome, and parents are encouraged to bring the family for a day full of fun activities related to the building and construction trade. The Electrical Alliance and JATC booth will demonstrate how a light switch works and have children help wire an electrical unit and literally turn a light bulb on.
Big Build is a free event, no registration necessary. Recommended for ages 5-12; all ages welcome.
The JATC is sponsored by the Electrical Alliance, a cooperative effort between the Washington, D.C. Chapter of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 26.
