When we ask electrical apprentices what made them pursue this industry, one of the most common responses we hear is “financial security.”
Students who complete the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) program can earn up to $62,320 – $114,000 a year, plus benefits, depending on the track they choose.
Not only that, but as skilled workers in a growing industry, they benefit from a high level of job security. They also receive continuing education as a union electrician, which provides additional security.
If that sounds reassuring, read on. Whether you’re a new high school graduate, a college student looking for a change, a career transitioner, or a veteran, there’s an electrical path for you.
