2025 was a year of real momentum and one built on strong partnerships and deliberate action to advance the electrical industry across our region.
From major projects and workforce initiatives to new tools designed to better support our members and contractors, 2025 reinforced the value of long-term thinking. Throughout the year, the Electrical Alliance continued to focus on building capacity, elevating standards, and positioning our collective as a regional leader prepared for what’s ahead.
Highlights of 2025
Supporting Growth Through Smarter Hiring Tools
In response to contractor and member feedback, we launched a new Submit a Job Posting page on the Electrical Alliance website. This tool makes it easier for contractors to share open positions and connect with qualified candidates. Our goal with this tool is to support the growing operational needs behind today’s projects so we can ensure long-term success on and off the jobsite.
High-Profile Projects That Showcase Union Excellence
2025 brought several standout projects that reflect the scale, complexity, and visibility of work performed by Electrical Alliance contractors. From helping transform the National Geographic Museum of Exploration into an immersive, interactive experience, to securing a landmark labor agreement for the Washington Commanders stadium redevelopment that guarantees good-paying union jobs for local workers, these projects highlight the broad scope of work our member contractors are capable of.
Ongoing Collaboration and Regional Leadership
Across 2025, continued collaboration among contractors, members, and partners helped strengthen relationships at the local, state, and regional levels. These conversations and shared efforts play a critical role in shaping opportunities, advancing policy discussions, and reinforcing the Electrical Alliance’s role as a trusted leader in the industry.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move into 2026, we’re carrying forward the momentum built this year. Several exciting initiatives are already in motion, with a strong focus on recruitment, benefits, and expanding office staff capacity to support continued growth. We’re also planning updates to the Electrical Alliance website, including new pages that highlight the programs and partnerships we’re proud to be part of.
These efforts reflect an intentional approach to planning ahead, leaning into opportunity, and ensuring our collective remains well-positioned for the future.
We’re grateful for the collaboration, trust, and shared commitment from all our members that made this year possible. Together, we’ll continue to shape the conversations and decisions that guide our industry forward.
The Electrical Alliance is for you. For us. For all. We hope you’ll follow along and make your voice heard in 2026.
