Mona Electric Group named AGC subcontractor of the year by AGC while electricians on 24 other projects win WBC awards
Electrical Alliance contractors and their electricians made a quality impression in the Washington, D.C. area for their work, as they won awards from the Washington Building Congress (WBC) Craftsmanship Award Program and the Association General Contractors (AGC) of Washington, D.C.
Electricians working for Electrical Alliance contractors were recognized by The WBC Craftsmanship Awards Program for exceptional workmanship on 24 projects throughout the Washington, D.C. area.
The WBC represents the interests of more than 1,000 companies from all facets of the real estate, design, and construction industry. It is the only local organization that publically recognizes the skills of talented craftsmen in the D.C. metropolitan area. The awards are an annual celebration of excellent work performed by contractors in the local industry who display exceptional workmanship, superior skills, and individual effort in projects.
The electrical category awards are based on work in power generation, distribution, and switchgear installations as well as lighting, telecommunications, and fire alarm systems. All winners were honored at the Craftsmanship Awards Banquet that was held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on Friday, March 22, 2013.

The AGC of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., recognizes the accomplishment of general contractors and subcontractors for their professional roles in winning projects. The program annually honors exceptional projects from the Washington, D.C. area construction industry. Entries are judged by a panel of owners and construction professionals. The panel selects winning projects according to the quality of workmanship, project management, owner satisfaction, timeliness, and safety. All winners are honored at an award ceremony.
