This November we’re excited to be supporting the Greenbuild 2015 in Washington D.C, one of the biggest events held by the U.S. Green Building Council. And in honor of Earth Day and sustainability month in April, here’s a look back at some of our electrical contractors sustainable projects:
Ballou High School – Heller Electric Company completed the electrical work for the 356,000 square-foot Frank W. Ballou High School complex. The total construction cost was $124 million and the main building will achieve a LEED-Platinum rating.
First DC Fast Charging Stations – It just got a lot more convenient to be an electric car owner in the Washington, D.C. area with the installation of DC Fast Chargers by ABM Electrical Power Solutions (ABM).
1812 North Moore Street – The project at 1812 North Moore Street is the tallest LEED-certified commercial building in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
Largest Rooftop Solar Array in Maryland – Kelly Electric completed the electrical installation of a 1.8 megawatt rooftop solar project for Constellation Energy in Belcamp, MD—the largest single rooftop solar installation in the state.
