2024 is off to an electrifying start—with a brand-new website!
Our goal for the website redesign was to provide clearer direction on all the ways you can get involved with the Electrical Alliance.
Since we support contractors, individual apprentices (and future apprentices), and the clients who hire contractors, we needed to pave a smooth path for all.
Now, you can clearly find:
- The different ways to benefit from the Electrical Alliance. Whether you’re interested in becoming an apprentice, you’re an existing contractor, or you’re a business owner who wants to hire a contractor, we can help.
- The 3 different training tracks for potential apprentices. The new website includes updated details on what differentiates each track, and how to start applying.
As a collective between the IBEW Local 26 and electrical contractors of the Washington, DC Chapter of NECA, we have a multi-faceted community behind us.
But we all share the same mission: We’re here to give workers a more rewarding career while giving contractors the highly-trained workforce and support they need to grow. Because when we invest in our people, we improve industry standards for all.
As a result, we can create a more secure future for businesses, individuals, families—and the generations that follow.
The new website makes it easier for you to take part in that mission. We invite you to explore the website yourself, but here’s a recap on how you can join the Electrical Alliance.
Ways to get involved with the Electrical Alliance
Become an Apprentice
Begin your career as an electrical apprentice by enrolling in our program by the Joint Apprentice and Training Committee. Whether you want to jump right into A journeyman status, get a gradual taste of the industry, or explore the growing field of technology services, there’s something for you.
Join our Union Electricians
Being a member contractor gives you access to one of the largest pools of qualified electricians in the country and provides meaningful business benefits. By hiring the most qualified workers, you can improve efficiency, demonstrate quality work, and strengthen your reputation as a reputable contractor. Not only that but being a member gives you a platform to make your voice heard, uplifting your community and the industry as a whole.
Find a Qualified Contractor
The final critical piece of the Electrical Alliance puzzle is the wonderful businesses that hire our contractors! The new website makes it easy for potential clients to search by business name, location, or project type. The website also clearly demonstrates the benefits of hiring an Electrical Alliance contractor.
Explore the site. Explore the Electrical Alliance.
A special thank you to Drio for bringing this project to fruition! Go ahead—take a gander at our new website.
