Join The Electrical Alliance, in conjunction with the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 26, at Big Build 2019 on Saturday, October 12 at The National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. from 10 am to 4 pm.
A full day of family-friendly, fun and educational activities and demonstrations are planned for children of all ages and parents. Take the opportunity to learn more about the electrical trade as well as other meaningful construction industry trades that keep our city lit, growing and changing. The Electrical Alliance and JATC table will demonstrate how light switches work and show children how to wire an electrical unit and turn on a light bulb.
Big Build is a free event, no registration necessary. Recommended for ages 5-12; all ages welcome.
The JATC is sponsored by the Electrical Alliance, a cooperative effort between the Washington, D.C. Chapter of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 26.
